While worship involves far more than music, music is a vital aspect of worship. Over and over God’s redeemed are commanded to sing praises to God. “Sing a new song!” the psalmist tells us! And, the Apostle Paul reminds us that we are to teach and admonish each other with “singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness” in our hearts to God. (Colossians 3:15-17). We should make music not only with our voices but with instruments as well. We utilize a broad range of hymns, old and new, to voice our praise to God corporately on Sunday mornings. Our Adult Choir, in conjunction with Praise Teams and our Praise Band lead us in musical worship.
If God has gifted you musically and you enjoy singing, or if God has given you the ability to play a musical instrument, and He has given you the heart to use those talents for His glory and the building up of His church, you are invited to join us. Or, if God has given you the technical abilities to run a computer or to mix sound, we have a place for you to serve as well.
