The Holy Land

One trip to the Holy Land is more valuable than a semester at seminary. After visiting more than 35 countries, countless mission trips, and spending 17 semesters as a fulltime seminary student, I can confidently say that my trips to the Holy Land have deepened my ability to teach and understand the Scriptures more than any other singular event in my adult life. I would strongly urge all of our members to go on this life-changing experience that will reap bountiful blessings for you and your family.

We have taken every precaution to ensure the comfort and safety of all who attend. There are dozens of people in our church who have participated in this trip and they will assure you how safe they felt the entire time. Our partners at Pilgrim Tours take care of all the details, providing us with detailed travel arrangements, excellent accommodations and meals, and licensed Israeli escorts throughout our entire stay. You will also receive pre-trip training and information, preparing you to receive the most out of your Holy Land experience.

As we stand on the mount where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal, we will be emboldened to confront the false teaching of our fallen culture. As we sail on the Sea of Galilee, we will be reminded of our call to be fishers of men. As we walk the Via Dolorosa, the path of crucifixion, we will be challenged to suffer for the sake of Christ. And as we pray on the Mount of Olives, we will be challenged to advance the Gospel in a lost and dying world.

Church family, I encourage you to make this trip at one point in your lives.  If you are not in debt and can afford it, it’s worth it.  Brochures can be found in the welcome center.  Deposits are due by the end of October, assuming it doesn’t fill up before then.
