  • Adam Goodwin

Teaching Pastor, Huntington Community Church campus

As a child, Adam’s family didn’t go to church. It was not until he was 20 years old, that God made Himself known to Adam. That same year, he surrendered his life to Him.

While studying at Marshall University and attending FBC Kenova, Adam met his future wife, Olivia. After completing an undergraduate degree, he moved to Wake Forest, NC to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a Masters of Divinity and a doctorate in counseling.  After graduating in 2005, Adam and Olivia got married and moved backed to WV. Upon returning to Huntington in 2008, their family attended FBC Kenova.  After a dozen years of marriage, Adam and Olivia have been blessed with six children!

When Adam returned to FBCK in 2008, the church was in the process of planting a church in Huntington. Adam and Olivia committed one year as lay volunteers to help get the church plant started. Five years later, Adam came on staff with HCC and he is excited to see how God will use their church family to reach the ends of the earth with the gospel of Christ.
